four leaf clover

People often ask, why a four leaf clover as a symbol for your company? I thought in a small nutshell I could explain it here…

The leaves of four leaf clovers are sometimes said to stand for faith, hope, love, and luck, and the chance of finding one is approximately 1 in 10,000! (and oh by the way, they can’t be grown. There are shamrock seeds but no seed exists for a four leaf clover.) The four leaf clover has also been said to ward off evil spirits and bestow good luck.

Of course another very famous interpretation is:

I’m looking over a four-leaf clover
That I overlooked before.
One leaf is sunshine, the second is rain,
Third is the roses that grow in the lane.
No need explaining the one remaining
Is somebody I adore.
I’m looking over a four-leaf clover
That I overlooked before.

So with all those wonderful forces working, I thought what better symbol to represent my company to the world!!

And for those wondering why my site is not decorated in Irish green, being clover and all. A good friend of mine told me that the “actual” color of Ireland is (or was) blue, not green. Taking his advice, and choosing to equally represent the thin blue line, I chose blue. It is after all, a different wave of life….
